Couples Therapy

A Space To Connect Again

Couples therapy is an opportunity to build a stronger foundation — rooted in better communication, more security, and deeper intimacy.

You May Be Here Because…

You keep having the same arguments.
You find yourselves caught in the same cycles, struggling to resolve conflicts or truly hear each other.

You feel disconnected from one another.
You love each other, but lately it feels harder to feel close, understood, or on the same team.

You struggle to talk through difficult topics.
Conversations can quickly escalate into conflict or important feelings and needs go unspoken.

Your relationship has changed with a new phase of life.
Whether you’re dealing with parenting stressors, adjusting to an empty nest, or managing a new transition in your relationship, you want to find your way back to each other.

Our Work Together

Engaging. Supportive. Connecting.

Couples therapy offers an opportunity to strengthen and nurture the connection that brought you together in the first place. Over time, disconnection, unresolved hurt, a loss of trust, or recurring cycles of conflict can leave you feeling adrift and alone in your relationship. Our work together will help you better understand one another, strengthen your communication, and find new ways to navigate difficult moments. In many ways, couples therapy is about building a bridge between you, creating space to truly hear, understand, and see one another again.

In couples therapy, I often think of my role as a translator, helping each of you identify the emotions and needs beneath your reactions and find ways to express them to one another. I also help you listen to and truly receive your partner's experiences, needs, and emotions without falling into defensiveness or familiar cycles of conflict. Together, we'll work toward approaching difficult conversations with greater openness and understanding, so you can navigate challenges as a team.

I’ve had the privilege of helping couples navigate:

  • High-conflict situations

  • Major life transitions

  • Complicated family of origin dynamics

  • Parenting challenges

  • Premarital counseling

  • Multicultural relationships
